We receive data mainly from you. Data may also come from your employer or a colleague who books accommodation for your team, from your browser when you use our website, and from public sources such as company registers when we check business details.
5. Why we process data and on what legal basis
- Answering enquiries and preparing offers. Legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b)) and our legitimate interest in handling business enquiries (Article 6(1)(f)).
- Arranging and managing accommodation, customer service and invoicing. Legal basis is performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b)) and, for contact persons of companies, our legitimate interest in managing the customer relationship (Article 6(1)(f)).
- Accounting and other legal obligations. Legal basis is compliance with a legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)), for example under the Finnish Accounting Act.
- Running and securing the website. Legal basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the website working, secure and free of abuse (Article 6(1)(f)).
- Analytics and measuring marketing. Legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a)). We only use analytics cookies if you accept them, and you can withdraw consent at any time.
- Marketing messages. We send newsletters or offers only if you have separately agreed to them, or to business contacts as allowed by Finnish law. You can opt out at any time.
- Establishing or defending legal claims. Legal basis is our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)).
Where we rely on legitimate interest, we have assessed that it is not overridden by your rights. You can ask us for more information about this assessment. Providing data is voluntary, but without contact and request details we cannot prepare an offer.
6. Cookies and similar technologies
The website uses technologies that are necessary for it to work, such as the browser session storage that remembers your quote answers and campaign source during your visit. This data stays in your browser and is deleted when you close the tab. Analytics and marketing cookies are used only with your consent. More details are in our Cookie Policy.
7. Who receives the data
We do not sell personal data. We share data only when needed for the purposes above, with
- Service providers that process data on our behalf, such as Webflow (website hosting and form submissions), Google (Tag Manager, web fonts and, with consent, analytics), Cloudflare (delivery of website code libraries), map providers OpenStreetMap Foundation or Mapbox (map images on the Find your project page) and our email, customer management and accounting service providers. They may only use the data according to our instructions.
- Accommodation owners and partners, when guest or booking details are needed to arrange a stay.
- Authorities and advisers, when required by law or needed to protect our legal rights.
8. Transfers outside the EU and EEA
Some of our service providers process data outside the EU and EEA, mainly in the United States. We transfer data only when it is protected as required by the GDPR, either on the basis of an adequacy decision of the European Commission, such as the EU US Data Privacy Framework for certified companies, or on the basis of the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses together with any necessary additional safeguards. You can request more information about the safeguards from us.
9. How long we keep data

- Analytics data collected with consent is kept for up to 14 months.
- Marketing permissions are kept until you withdraw them.
When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

11. Right to lodge a complaint
If you think we process your data unlawfully, you can lodge a complaint with the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman in Finland, P.O. Box 800, 00531 Helsinki, tietosuoja@om.fi, tietosuoja.fi.
